History and Mission
The St. George Monastery Scout Troop in Almishtaya stands as a distinguished and active educational pillar in our community. Established in 1979, the troop has consistently played a vital social and educational role, raising generations on noble moral and human values rooted in the principles of the Scouting movement and the spirit of service and love.
A Committed Generation
The troop currently comprises approximately 150 members across various age groups, including Buds, Cubs, Scouts, and Rovers. They operate under the supervision of dedicated leaders committed to honing the members' skills and refining their characters on scouting, cultural, physical, and spiritual levels. This holistic approach fosters a deep sense of belonging, responsibility, and teamwork.

The troop organizes a vibrant masquerade carnival, spreading joy and keeping local heritage and folk traditions alive.
